Project Scope
- Gather site-specific information and technical diagrams provided by the customer.
- Conduct a thorough RF interference check at both the near end and far end locations.
- Ensure that all necessary site permissions are in place before proceeding.
- Receive and inspect materials at both ends of the installation.
- Verify received materials against the packing list.
- Promptly notify the customer in case of any urgent material issues.
- Assemble and hoist microwave (MW) antennas and radios onto the designated towers.
- Ensure alignment with the specifications mentioned in the TND/RND.
- Securely clamp and route intermediate frequency (IF) cables from the shelter to the antennas at both ends.
- Properly ground the antennas and RF cables at suitable locations to ensure safety and optimal performance.
- If specified, install the transmission rack at both ends according to the project requirements.
- Install and commission Indoor Units (IDUs) within the shelters at both sites.
- Align MW antennas to achieve the desired receive level as specified in the project guidelines.
- Grounding, Weatherproofing, and Labeling of Cables.
- Thoroughly ground all cables to prevent electrical hazards.
- Apply weatherproofing measures to safeguard against environmental elements.
- Properly label all cables for clear identification and maintenance.
- Conduct comprehensive acceptance testing to ensure that all components and systems function as intended.
- Verify that the installed MW system meets the predetermined performance criteria.
